Real Mosaic is made by traditional Roman methods, every piece of stone or glass (tesserae) is cut by hand using original tools and ancient techniques. Large floor and wall mosaics are made in sections, transported and installed on site by our specialists and stitched together to form a seamless, surface.
Stephen Windsor-Clive studied at mosaic schools in Ravenna for 3 years in the 80's followed by an M.A. degree in Traditional Arts at The Prince of Wales Institute, London. Moving to live in Andalucia he began the first Real Mosaic workshop in Tangier, making contemporary Roman and Byzantine mosaics to order as well as finished tables and jardinieres and wall pieces for an international client base.
Emma Windsor-Clive, has a full background in interior decorating from London and together they have created Casa Mosaica to display a full range of mosaic and displaying design possibilities for clients, designers and architects.
